About Eva's Attic
Eva's Attic, founded by Margaret Doucas and Theresa Gattung is named after Margaret's late Mother and is operated by the Eva Doucas Charitable Trust with all of the store's profits going to charities. The Attic at 174 Cuba Street is staffed and managed by volunteers.
Eva Doucas, a gentle Greek lady spent much of her early life in poverty until arriving in New Zealand. Probably because of her early experiences Eva valued the earth's resources and practiced recycling all her life.
