Part Time Weekend Retail Sales Assistants / Casual Staff

Kirkcaldie & Stains Ltd are seeking mature-minded, conscientious and enthusiastic people to complement our existing part time and weekend sales staff. The successful applicants will be energetic self-starters with an exceptional standard of presentation, superior communication skills and possess a passion for retail and outstanding customer service.
Staff are required across the whole store including Ladies and Men’s Fashion and Accessories, Homewares and Fine China.
Depending on the successful applicants, a combination of hours is available, but will include one weekend day. eg. Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday.
Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experience in retail, and all applicants must be free to attend a three days of training which will be held during the week, Monday to Friday.

Casual On Call Staff

We are also seeking a small group of truly Casual On Call Retail/Stock Assistants who meet the requirements as set out in the first paragraph above.
Work would be subject your availability and the business’ needs, but will include working in the first week of the bi-annual Sales, in the time running up to busy periods such as Christmas, Stocktake and Easter and on an On Call basis during the year.
We are looking for staff who are flexible and have a sleeves up approach to sell merchandise and work with our Stock Administration team.
These positions are more likely to suit people living in the central city area who are happy to be called on at the last minute.
